I’ve seen those DIY recipes, and as someone suffering the effects of premature aging (and hopefully not more!) from way too many attempts at “tanning” as a teenager, have been curious but skeptical…so many things on Pinterest seem so easy and simple, it makes me think, “gee, you’d think we’d have solved ALL our problem by now if things were so easy!”.

Conventional sunscreens are kind of thick and greasy, and don’t smell great. Chances are, there’s a reason for that, and the reason is not because they don’t care about their marketability.
